As many of you know Ezra was diagnosed with JDM at the age of 3 and is currently under treatment. We have had a little rollercoaster of a journey. He’s had allot of ER visits, hospital stays and a surgery that was caused by infection. Every little scrape can end up being bigger than it may be for other children. He is resilient and loves his hospital (CHOC) and always thanks his nurses for his medicine. He looks forward to his doctor visits but most of all he loves the attention. There is only once a year that he gets to see other kids going through the same as him and that is at the walks. He loves what team Ezzy is all about (him) and enjoys seeing the other kids he can relate to and see all his family/ friends come together for him. He also gets to sometimes see his rheumatologist.

Thanks to the research from Cure JM they have found not a cure but treatments that has helped many patients. Children have been able to do the everyday things kids enjoy which include jumping, hopping, running. For this we are grateful and would love to continue to be a part of the research and help collect donations for Cure JM so they can continue to do what has helped our little Ezzy. Help us give children hope for a brighter future.
